Idaho Fitness Factory Continues to Expand Under Alturas Ventures

When Alturas Ventures acquired Idaho Fitness Factory in 2022, we saw a business that was already doing a lot of things right. The company built a strong reputation across the Treasure Valley by offering clean, affordable, and convenient gyms and a straightforward experience for its members. At the time, it operated just eight locations serving around 17,000 members. 

Over the past few years, Alturas Ventures has supported the IFF team as they continue to grow. That’s meant opening new locations, investing in facilities (including all new equipment at every club), and finding ways to improve the membership experience while staying true to what made Idaho Fitness Factory successful in the first place.  

Today, we’ve helped Idaho Fitness Factory expand to 12 locations with over 25,000+ active members across the Treasure Valley.  

Treasure Valley Expansion Continues 

 

We continue to build off our momentum and success, and recently broke ground on a Kuna location, located at 1515 N School Avenue, and Star at 12214 W Bounty Lane.  

For existing members who live in or commute through these communities, these new clubs provide more flexibility and convenience, making it easier to prioritize fitness in their daily routines. We’re also excited to welcome new members who will be joining Idaho Fitness Factory for the first time, bringing our neighborhood gym experience to communities that have been asking for locations closer to home.  

Just as importantly, these additions position us well for the future as Kuna and Star continue to be among the fastest-growing areas in the Treasure Valley. By establishing locations in these communities today, we’re able to better serve both current and future members for years to come. 

We’re continuing our strategic partnership with Hyndman Construction who recently completed our first ground-up construction on Ten Mile Having the right construction partner has helped IFF refine its footprint, reduce costs, and shorten our build timeline.  

What we’re most proud of isn’t just the growth. It’s that the company remains a local business focused on serving local members. As Idaho continues to grow, we’re excited to help Idaho Fitness Factory grow with it, bringing quality fitness options to more neighborhoods throughout the Treasure Valley and beyond.
